My understanding of Keith & Henri's use of the CC license was for the underlying materials. Everything I've seen and heard from them is that they want people to use them in commercial enterprises to advance business purposes. You just can't take the materials and sell them directly.
Yes, Fisher has it just right.
The CC-BY-NC license explicitly prohibits the commercialization of derivative works. This means that Liberating Structures can not be used as the basis of anything that is derived and then commercialized. Further:
"...material licensed under CC BY or BY-SA is a free cultural work ... CC’s other licenses– BY-NC, BY-ND, BY-NC-SA, and BY-NC-ND–only allow more limited uses, and material under these licenses is not considered a free cultural work."

I'm new to LS and before I totally get into it, I was curious whether someone talked about the fact that CC-BY-NC can hardly be brought into unison with a commercial use.
The whole purpose of a business is directed toward commercial advantage or monetary compensation.
